Text Messaging
Journey to the Cross (“J2C”) offers guests the option to voluntarily provide a mobile phone number for the limited purpose of receiving scheduling and event-related text message notifications associated with their participation in the event.
Phone numbers collected for this purpose will be used exclusively to communicate time-sensitive information related to event scheduling, updates, and guest flow through the experience. Providing a phone number is entirely optional and is not required in order to attend or participate in the event.
J2C does not use collected phone numbers for marketing, promotional communications, fundraising, or any purpose unrelated to event operations. Phone numbers will not be sold, shared, leased, or otherwise disclosed to any third party, except as may be required by law or as necessary to facilitate the delivery of text messages through a contracted messaging service provider operating on J2C’s behalf.
All phone numbers will be retained only for the duration of the event and any immediately necessary post-event administrative period, after which they will be permanently deleted.
Guests may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message received through the system. Opting out of text communications will not affect a guest’s ability to participate in the event.
By voluntarily providing a phone number, guests acknowledge and consent to receive text messages for the limited purposes described above.
